Meet Dr. Allen
Dr. Mark Allen is a highly skilled orthodontist with an impressive educational background and a passion for creating beautiful smiles. He embarked on a 10-year journey to fulfill his commitment to becoming an orthodontist and has been practicing for more than 30 years.
Dr. Allen graduated from South Garland High School where he played football and was named All-District Quarterback. After high school graduation, he went on to play football at Abilene Christian University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1986. He then spent four years at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX and completed an additional two-year program in the Baylor Graduate Orthodontic Department, where he earned his master's degree in orthodontics in 1992. His dedication to his profession led him to serve as the past president of the Baylor Orthodontic Alumni Association.

Dr. Allen’s continuous pursuit of excellence is evident in his commitment to staying up to date with the latest orthodontic techniques and technology. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society and the American Association of Orthodontists. Through these memberships, he stays connected with the latest advancements in the field and collaborates with other orthodontic professionals.
In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Allen loves sports and enjoys working out, going for walks, reading and has a fascination with the JFK assassination. As a Texas native, it only feels right that his favorite foods are barbeque and Mexican, and he passionately supports the Texas Longhorn football team.
Dr. Mark Allen feels very blessed by the opportunity to provide the best orthodontic care to the Rockwall and Garland communities.
